Our Vice Rector & Acting Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın met with FEAS Faculty and Department Student Representatives at the Basın Ekspres campus on Monday, December 6, 2021.
On Tuesday, December 7, Chief Kenan Baylan was the guest of the "Tourism Economics" course given by Lecturer Raif Bakova, an academician of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Asst. Prof. Nazan Çağlar Director of Istanbul Kültür University Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center (AGMER), and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, visited Tekin Urhan, Chairperson of the Board of the Turkish Family Business Association (TAIDER).
During the visit, which was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the issues of updating the previously signed protocol between Istanbul Kültür University and TAIDER were discussed, as well as existing collaborations.
The article titled "Evaluating the International Renewable Energy Agency through the lens of social constructivism", co-authored by Assoc. Dr. Çağla Gül Yesevi, a faculty member from the Department of International Relations, was published in the journal Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews. Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, with an impact factor of 14,982, are among the Q1 journals.
The panel titled “Corporative Resilience Among the Family Businesses” is organized in collaboration with Istanbul Kültür University Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Research and Application Center (AGMER) and the Management Consultant Foundation, on June 23, Wednesday at 20.00 via ZOOM and Youtube. In the panel where the Dean of our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, Atıl Pekşen one of the shareholders of Levent Kimya and Fahrettin Otluoğlu Management Consultant & CMC, the arguments about the resilience of family businesses were shared.
Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 2020-2021 Spring Semester Academic Board The academic board, which was held on March 08, 2021 via CATS, was attended by faculty members as well as lecturers with an hourly fee. Our Dean Prof. Dr. Ali ŞEN shared general up-to-date information about the faculty with the lecturers after his opening speech. Following the speech of our dean, our faculty members and department heads expressed their opinions.
A protocol signing ceremony was held with the participation of our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr Ali Şen and Mentor Customs Consultancy CEO Dr. Hakan Çınar.
The signed protocol includes sectoral lectures, training seminars, joint project studies, internship opportunities for students, as well as social issues as well as national and international issues, which will be held together with the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Mentor Customs Consultancy.

In the event where Prof. Dr. Şadi Can Saruhan and Lecturer Bülent Şenver were speakers; Historical development of ethics, ethical perspective and ethical problems were discussed In the event moderated by Prof. Dr. Mahmut Paksoy; Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen informed the participants about the ethics studies of the faculty.
