The panel titled “Corporative Resilience Among the Family Businesses” is organized in collaboration with Istanbul Kültür University Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Research and Application Center (AGMER) and the Management Consultant Foundation, on June 23, Wednesday at 20.00 via ZOOM and Youtube. In the panel where the Dean of our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, Atıl Pekşen one of the shareholders of Levent Kimya and Fahrettin Otluoğlu Management Consultant & CMC, the arguments about the resilience of family businesses were shared.
In the first part of the panel, which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, the speaker Fahrettin Otluoğlu conveyed his views on issues such as institutionalization of enterprises, transfer problems, current due diligence (SWOT), corporate strategies. Pekşen contributed to the process with her experience and experience in the establishment of Levent Kimya, the experiences in the management process, institutionalization, management transfer, proactive approaches and decision processes. Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, who took the last word in the first part, talked about academic studies, sectoral activities carried out in the light of scientific data, and also conceptually about Resilience.
In the second part, the panellists gave their views on the subject of institutional resilience. Evaluations were made from different perspectives, especially on the activities carried out within the sector, the decisions taken and implemented strategies in crisis situations, incomplete and erroneous practices, and what needs to be done. Finally, under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Şen, the questions conveyed to the panellists from the participants were answered.
