IKU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

The Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was founded in 1997 and produced its first graduates at the end of the 2000-2001 Academic Year. Our Faculty continues its education in the following 7 departments:

  • Department of Economics
  • Department of Business Administration
  • Department of International Relations
  • Department of International Trade
  • Department of Business Administration (English)
  • Department of Entrepreneurship
  • Department of International Trade and Finance (English)

The medium of instruction is English in the Department of International Relations, Department of Business Administration (English), Department of International Trade (English) and the English Preparation Class is compulsory for these departments. International Trade and Department of Entrepreneurship and the English Preparation Class is optional for these departments.

In our Faculty, education is supported with conferences, seminars, discussions, business trips and workshops in order to help our students improve themselves and become qualified individuals that are demanded in the business world.In addition, courses are enriched with the examination of certain subjects by speakers from the business world.

One of our most important goals of the Faculty is to make sure that our students adapt to the realities of the business world and professional groups in which they will be involved. Therefore, the 4-year education programs of our departments are updated accordingly and applications and current studies are increased in addition to academic knowledge.

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences also conducts research, training and consultancy activities for regional enterprises as well as education for students.
