A meeting was held on the ZOOM platform on Friday, June 3, 2022, with the participations of IKU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Müge Çetiner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Ünalan from IKU Department of International Trade and Finance, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection Department Waste Management Directorate, Climate Change Branch Directorate, and Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) officials. In the meeting, which was held in order to work together on issues such as carbon footprint, carbon neutral campus, zero waste campus, a decision was made to measure and monitor the air pollution in the region where IKU Basın Express campus is located, so that the area around the campus would be inspected and the current condition of it would be reported to the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change by IMM.
